This salsa plays a big role in our Huevos Rancheros, but it is also delicious just to eat with a big bag of chips on a Friday evening. I hope you enjoy!

Serves 4-6


1 15oz can organic tomato sauce
1/4 medium onion
1 1/2 jalapeno
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp water
1/2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp vegetable oil






Take the tomato sauce, onion, garlic, jalapenos, salt, and water. Blend until it is smooth in a blender. Pour the vegetable oil in a small pot and add the blended mixture. Boil until it has deepened in color, about 10-15 minutes. Add chopped cilantro. Then let it cool, and enjoy!
