Pulao

Pulao is an Indian rice with vegetables. It is goes well with the butter chicken recipe.

Serves 4-5

​

Ingredients:

​

- 1 cup rice

- 2 cup water

- 1/2 cup mixed vegetables

- Salt to taste

- 1 tbsp lemon juice

​

Procedure:

​

Boil the water in a pot, then pour in a serving pan. Pour the rice, mixed veggies, lemon juice, and salt into the water. Bake at 400° F for 20-30 minutes or until the water has evaporated and until the rice is soft and fluffy.  Keep checking while its baking to make sure it does not dry up!
