Indian-style Frittata

If you are ever in the mood for something savory, but with a little kick, this frittata recipe is perfect for you! This frittata is spiced up with some of India's most famous spices, including garam masala and cumin powder. In India, you can find this in the form of a scramble, or as we call it, bhurji. As I have made this many times, I feel that it tastes better in the style of a frittata. On a plus side, this recipe is healthy, as it contains many vegetables, so you won't have to feel guilty while eating this. I hope you enjoy this recipe!

Serves 2

Ingredients:
6 eggs
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
1/3 medium onion, diced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp cumin
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Cheese (optional)

Procedure:
Crack your eggs into a bowl and whisk, along with the salt and pepper. In a pan, add the oil and wait until heated. Once hot, add the diced onion and cook until translucent. Add the diced bell pepper and cook until soft. Add the mushrooms to the mix and cook until mushrooms have decreased in size and water has evaporated. Now you can pour in the egg mixture into the pan. Once the edges of the egg turn white, transfer into an oven set at 350°F for 10 minutes. Now you can enjoy your meal!
